Teacher training according to the InnerPower Method
Sometimes you feel you’re allowed to stand still for a moment. That your body has something to tell you, but that in the busyness of daily life you live right past it.
In this training you are allowed to slow down. We work with the body, the breath and the nervous system, and bring attention to what is happening on the inside.
The focus is on Yin Yoga, but Ilse-Marie always combines this with Qigong, breathwork, meditation and energy work. You learn how fascia, tension and the nervous system are connected to each other, and how through this combination of disciplines you can experience more rest and space again. We also draw on elements from the Taoist view of the body and energy, so that you not only understand what is happening, but truly come to feel it.
For many people this is not just a training, but also a moment to return to themselves. To reconnect with their own body, their energy and their inner strength.
Many participants take this training initially for themselves. Others want to integrate it into their work, or feel the wish to start teaching classes. Whatever your motivation, you follow the same training. And along the way you naturally discover what fits you.
The InnerPower Method
LAND
Coming home into your body. Safety, grounding and presence as the foundation for everything that follows.
ADEM
The breath as a bridge between body and feeling. Regulation, space and connection from within.
VOEL
Feel what your body is telling you, so you can make choices that truly resonate again.
What sets this training apart
Taoist worldview
Not a set of separate techniques, but a coherent philosophy of life. Wu wei, meridians, organs and energy as a common thread running through the entire training.
Personal and in small groups
Direct guidance from Ilse-Marie Sobering. Room for your own process, questions and growth.
More than just Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is the core, but Ilse-Marie also weaves Qigong, breathwork, meditation and energy work through the training. Disciplines that reinforce each other and together touch a deeper layer.
The InnerPower Method: LAND • ADEM • VOEL
The training is built around its own methodology that runs through everything as a common thread. Not separate parts, but one coherent whole of landing, breathing and feeling.
Yoga Alliance certified (50 hours)
Recognised by Yoga Alliance and registered with the CRKBO (the Dutch register for quality short vocational training providers). Suitable for professionals and for people who take the training purely for themselves.
Who is this training for?
You long for more calm and connection with yourself
You feel you want more than to just keep going. You want to learn to slow down, feel, and live from your body.
You are a yoga teacher and want to deepen your offer
You want to guide Yin Yoga safely and with knowledge of fascia, meridians and the nervous system.
You work as a coach, therapist or facilitator
You want to integrate body-based tools into your work. Yin Yoga, breathwork and nervous system regulation as an addition to what you already do.
You are an entrepreneur or professional with a busy life
You notice you need depth and recovery. A place where you can really come to rest.
You are taking the training purely for yourself
No professional intention needed. Many participants come simply because they feel this is for them. That is more than enough.
No experience needed. Only the willingness to slow down and feel.
What will you learn during the Yin Yoga Training (50 hours)?
The training is built up in modules and focuses on a deep learning process in which practical knowledge, energetic insight and personal experience come together.
You build in-depth knowledge of Yin Yoga postures and learn how to adapt them to different bodies and needs. You get to know how fascia, the nervous system and polyvagal theory work, and understand how these layers connect within a Yin practice.
You discover the basics of Taoism and how you can apply this philosophy of life in your own life and classes. You learn Qigong exercises to let energy flow and create balance. You also develop in-depth knowledge of meridians, their connection to organs, and how you can use them to support health and vitality.
You develop the skill to put together Yin Yoga classes yourself that feel right and resonate. You learn how to tune a class to the needs of the group, and how to use your own voice and creativity in this. Teaching from presence rather than from a script.
You work with breathing techniques, meditation and energy work to strengthen your own inner power. You gain tools to deepen your own practice and to guide others on their path towards more connection, calm and balance. Purely for yourself, or to pass on to others.
Locations and dates 2026 / 2027

Choose whatever suits you.
Picture perfect!
I recently took a 50-hour Yin Yoga TTC with Ilse.
I love her yoga classes, as well as the Qigong and breathing sessions.
Ilse has such a warm, supportive, and caring approach, which is exactly what is needed in such courses, and I (as a yang person) unexpectedly fell in love with my new yin practice. Thank you, Ilse
🙏🙏
I am so grateful that I booked the Yin Yoga 50-hour TTC in Malaga with Ilse from House of InnerPower. We not only delved deep into the power of Yin Yang, Anatomy, and Philosophy, but also gained insight into Yoga Nidra, Breathwork, QiGong, and much more. It didn’t just feel like a course, but truly like a journey of self-discovery.
I recommend Ilse’s training 150%!

Ilse, I want to give you a big compliment for guiding me through my Yin Yoga training. As one of the two men in the group with limited experience, I have developed into a beginner teacher with passion! It is a content-strong curriculum, with a beautiful connection to practical Yin Yoga exercises. You know how to bind and captivate the group. In my opinion, this is the place to follow your Yoga training / deepening!
Ilse, thank you so much! Kevin
Learned an incredible amount and enjoyed myself during the Yin Yoga teacher training. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I certainly won’t rule out another training in the future! Thank you for the fantastic training!
I have come to know Ilse as an incredibly warm personality. She shares her knowledge with great warmth, and takes students on a journey of experiencing how to deal with energy and emotion.
Her enthusiasm is infectious, and her knowledge is truly boundless.
Namaste 🙏
Liefs Annechien en Karin

Frequently asked questions
The InnerPower Yin Yoga Training is a 50-hour, Yoga Alliance certified and CRKBO registered teacher training by Ilse-Marie Sobering. Besides Yin Yoga, you work with Qigong, breathwork, meditation and energy work, built around the InnerPower Method LAND ADEM VOEL. You follow the training purely for yourself, or to learn to guide others.
The trainings in Spain, Brabant and Laren are the same 50-hour InnerPower Yin Yoga Training, with the same curriculum and the same recognised certificate. The difference lies in the setup: in Spain, the longer, more immersive week gives a bit more time and space for extra workshops and activities. In terms of content and certification, the trainings are equivalent.
Yes. After this training you may teach Yin Yoga, and you may also integrate it into your own practice. During the training you get a solid foundation to create your own sessions or give standalone exercises, complemented with breathwork and meditations you can use right away. Do you not yet have teaching experience? Then we recommend first practising with, for example, family and friends, until you feel confident enough to teach people you don’t know.
There are many Yin Yoga trainings, but what sets the InnerPower Yin Yoga Training apart is its own method: LAND • ADEM • VOEL. Philosophy and anatomy are not separate here, but translated into something you can really apply, integrate into your own life, and later pass on to others again. The best training is ultimately the one that feels right. Take your time to feel whether this fits you.
When choosing a yin yoga teacher training, pay attention to a few things: is the training Yoga Alliance certified, is the provider registered with the CRKBO, how many hours does the training cover, and does the philosophy match what you are looking for. Some trainings are purely physical-anatomical, others combine this with philosophy, breathwork and nervous system regulation, as the InnerPower Yin Yoga Training does. Take the time to feel which approach fits you, that matters at least as much as what’s on paper.
House of InnerPower offers two types of Yin Yoga trainings. The InnerPower Yin Yoga Training is the full 50-hour, Yoga Alliance certified teacher training, available in Spain, Liempde or Laren. There is also the two-day training Yin Yoga, Breathwork & Stress Regulation (15 hours), a shorter and more accessible training focused on stress regulation and trauma-sensitive work.
The main difference is in duration and depth. The 50-hour Yin Yoga Training is a complete, Yoga Alliance certified and CRKBO registered teacher training with which you can also start teaching. The 15-hour two-day training is shorter and focused on a specific theme, stress regulation and trauma processing with Yin Yoga and breathwork, without giving you a full teaching qualification.
A 200-hour training is usually a broad, general yoga teacher training that gives you a basic qualification to teach yoga classes. A 50-hour training, such as the InnerPower Yin Yoga Training, is a specialisation within one style, in this case Yin Yoga. You do not need a 200-hour training to start a 50-hour Yin Yoga specialisation, not even as a starting point.
Not quite. A regular yoga teacher training covers multiple yoga styles broadly. A yin yoga training is a deepening within one specific, slow and quiet style, with a lot of attention to fascia, the nervous system and stillness. You can take a yin yoga training independently of a broader yoga teacher training.
No. The InnerPower Yin Yoga Training stands on its own and does not require a prior 200-hour yoga training. You can join without a yoga background, and as an experienced teacher you also deepen your practice further with this training.
The training is 50 hours and identical in content at all three locations. You receive a Yoga Alliance certified diploma and the training is registered with the CRKBO, the Dutch register for quality short vocational training providers.
Yes. The training is Yoga Alliance certified (50 hours) and registered with the CRKBO.

Yes. You don’t need any experience with yoga, teaching or meditation. What is needed: the willingness to slow down and feel. Many participants start with no yoga background at all.

Yes. Many coaches, therapists and facilitators take this training to integrate body-based tools such as Yin Yoga, breathwork and nervous system regulation into their own practice.
Yes. With the Yoga Alliance certified diploma you can start giving Yin Yoga classes. During the training you also learn how to build your own classes and tune them to a group.
That’s completely normal, and you don’t have to decide based on a website alone. You can schedule a free introductory conversation to talk personally with Ilse-Marie about what you’re looking for and whether this fits. It’s also possible to get in touch with someone who has already taken the training, so you can hear directly what it’s like.
Yes. On the website you’ll find extensive reviews from people who have taken the training. If you’d like to know more, it’s also possible to get in touch with a previous participant, or first schedule an introductory conversation with Ilse-Marie.
Both are common. Many people come alone and build new connections within the group during the training. Others come together with a friend, partner or colleague. You don’t need to worry about anything, everyone is welcomed exactly as they are.
You can choose from three locations: Spain (El Cañuelo, near Periana in Andalusia), Liempde in Noord-Brabant and Laren in Noord-Holland. All three are the same 50-hour training with the same core content, only the format, setting and planning differ.
In Spain you follow one consecutive week including accommodation and meals. In Liempde you follow one complete week from Sunday to Friday, with the option to stay overnight. In Laren you follow the training spread over two separate weekends. The content is the same in all three cases.
This differs per location. In Spain you stay on site, included in the price. In Liempde, staying overnight is possible for a complete retreat experience, but not mandatory. In Laren you follow separate day parts spread over two weekends, staying overnight is not necessary there.
Yes. In Laren you follow the training spread over two weekends, ideal if you prefer to learn in blocks. In Liempde and Spain you follow the training in one consecutive week.
The investment differs per location: Spain from 1,745 euros, Liempde 1,295 euros, Laren 1,145 euros.
The investment for a yin yoga teacher training strongly depends on the number of hours, the location and whether accommodation is included. With the InnerPower Yin Yoga Training (50 hours), the investment ranges between 1,145 and 1,745 euros, depending on the location: Laren, Liempde or Spain.
Get in touch to discuss the options for a payment plan, then we’ll look together at what’s feasible.
Many employers have a training or development budget you can use. Whether this training qualifies depends on your employer’s conditions, often the training must contribute to knowledge and skills you need in your current or a future role. Feel free to check with your HR department. On request we prepare a separate quote for the training portion, so you can easily submit it.
As a freelancer or entrepreneur you can often list training costs as business expenses, provided the training demonstrably contributes to your current or future work. To be sure, check with your bookkeeper or advisor. On request we prepare a clear quote you can use for this.
You learn Yin Yoga fundamentals, fascia and nervous system function, the basics of Taoism, Qigong and meridian theory, how to build your own classes, and you deepen your own inner strength through breathwork, meditation and energy work.
House Of InnerPower’s courses are now also listed in the register of educational institutions that comply with the Quality Code for Training Institutions for Short Professional Education the CRKBO.

Yin Yoga has had an enormous power in my life. It helped me not only to come to rest physically and mentally, but also to truly connect with myself and my inner strength.
With more than 25 years of experience in yoga, meditation, breathwork and nervous system regulation, I share this knowledge with great love during the InnerPower Yin Yoga trainings. In small groups, personally guided, at various locations in the Netherlands and in Spain.
Warm regards,
Ilse-Marie
