Ishvara mudra helps to reduce sensory stimulation, allowing you to be calmed and soothed, reducing stress, and turning your attention inward, to rest in the peacefulness within. It stimulates Pratyahara or withdrawing of the senses.
This mudra activates and awakens Earth and Water Elements bringing a sense of grounded flow and stability.

How to do this Mudra
- Interlace your fingers together.
- Straighten the index and little fingers, and touch them together.
- Gently bring the palms together.
- Rest the extended thumbs against the index fingers.
- Keep your shoulders back and down. Place the elbows out to your sides at the level of the abdomen with the extended fingers pointing forward.
- Hold your hands in front of your belly for 5-10 natural breaths.
